Meeting Planners

Lenny is on the Promotion Trail of his book, No Balance Due. When he wrote it, he was careful to create a treasure of detailed stories. He wanted to influence his readers with positive solutions to overcome spending more than they earn.

He helps audiences discover and choose for themselves, the principles that got his financial world on the fast track to debt-free. They clearly understand he’s been there and folks walk away with several options to consider enacting in their daily lives.

Lenny doesn’t force feed his philosophies onto anyone. He simply shares his experiences and allows the listener to pick and choose what’s right for them.

His Lenny Tumbarelloprogram is always interesting. Lenny comes to his audience as one of them. He’s just a regular guy, who happened to apply basic techniques and found financial freedom in the process.

Lenny’s program is ideal for colleges, military, churches, civic clubs, companies, associations and networking groups.

Young or old, male or female, blue collar or white collar, personal finance issues are always there. If it’s not negatively affecting the listener personally, they know someone who is affected, and want to hear more about it.

Lenny Explains:

How No Balance Due Became a Book

No Balance Due came about completely by accident. Because of a couple of business closures and sale the assets, my wife Jackie and I took a trip in our motor-home during the spring of 1997.

We discovered there were people who worked during the summers and played during the winters. They worked at campgrounds, amusement parks and state & national parks all across America.

We fell in love with the Grand Canyon and through a series of events, would go to work there beginning that very summer. We’d travel back and forth along Interstate 10 during the winters. What a blast!

Meanwhile, our adult children were getting deeper and deeper into debt. It was on my mind to write down for them just what they had witnessed and explain why and how we’d done it.

I’d always wanted to be a public speaker of sorts. A couple of speakers said some things to me as a young man. I think I’ve had a better life experience because of those words. Jackie suggested, I should look into this speaking thing and give it a whirl.

In July, 2004 I attended several meetings to hang around some speakers and see just what it is these folks do. The very first thing I found out was, I should have a topic.

What a GOOD IDEA!

On the third evening of this speaking conference, I was eating dinner with five others who all talked about borrowing money, debt consolidation, home equity loans and the like. The whole darn table of people I was eating with was in debt up to their eyeballs.

That’s when it hit me. Hey man – this is a topic – it cuts across all segments of our society. It’s something I know about too.

Next, assuming I needed to research the topic, I read forty-seven books on the subject. I discovered at about book twenty-four, most of these dudes and dudettes weren’t suggesting the truths we’d discovered while digging ourselves out of our debt. Some of them were right on target. Regrettably however, several were actually suggesting implementing exactly the wrong strategies to get out of debt. That’s when the decision was made to write the book
